Still think this might be his awakened hybrid given the clouds and very similar hair to Nika.

That would make the most sense given Oda also illustrates his "Devil" devil fruit power in the same intro boxes and he only does this when someone uses their powers.

Im actually also half expecting Luffy to get a further form that has him looking closer to Imu in skin tone. All depictions of Nika (not sillhouette) are not fair skinned
