The flashback sequence suggests to me that everything that is happening right now is a chain and not coincidence, and he wants to stop it right now, realizing it himself

If anything i would argue road is loki, he is the biggest and he has a weapon and he has a cute companion like roado collecting figurines

i think the urgency is

sommers and kilingbum are about to be killed. We know the death of an hk directly affects imu, as seen with harald.

My theory has been imu going there to kill sommers and killingham himself, like he killed saturn and took back his power.

Through the chapter hes reminiscing about all the ''coincidental'' events that kept pilling up bringing up his old foes,etc and then he basically said that they lulled themselves into a false sense of victory after they won in the void century even though Vegapunk said that the war isnt over yet and finally said that since the war is inevitable he will take matters into his own hands.

I think Lily mightve had a hand in sealing/binding him to MJ and so maybe he believes Vivi can undo the curse.
