Best part of the chapter imo. Besides overall blandness, the most prone-to-criticism aspect of Imu was how much WG fucked up despite this 800+ year uber capable dude being seemingly at the helm, and how he didn't seem to give much of a shit. This panel openly acknowledges this fact by framing it is Imu basically being in a deep state of power-drunken stupor and procrastination for the last several decades. It's now a character flaw, not some plot contrivance.
From this chapter onwards Imu, if Lolda doesn't fuck it up, could become a compelling character. As a certified BB enjoyer myself, I don't actually mind some proper competition in the fandom wars on who's the FV (or who
deserves to be the FV), it makes things more interesting for everyone.
