Same question I'd ask people that want Imu as the final villain. We can't agree on everything...
Not liking something isn’t the same as bad writing. Oda establishing someone has a 100% accuracy with their fortune telling and their fortune greatly affecting the FMI arc just for it to not happen is objectively bad writing.

Imu being the final villain is just something you don’t agree with but is in no way bad

I'd prefer if he didn't exist because he's extremely boring and generic, but here we are.

In this case I'd be happier if he started using his best forms and abilities much closer to the end of the story.
Well, if you can admit that the argument that Imu got revealed too early doesn't mean much, I can agree to disagree beyond that.
(Though, I also strongly dislike Imu and think Teach will be the final villain, but Imu will probably be second to last)

This whole reveal shit is cope
The strongest claim of imu to being FV is a) he is linked to the cycle of opression b) he is clearly the key character for the Void century flashback as he was present during it + the time they erased the history

The rest doesnt really matter

The first point is the strongest, he’s currently the embodiment of oppression and the literal anti thesis to Luffys ultimate freedom. And Oda loves his themes and he loves having Luffy crushing those villains themes and dreams.

Blackbeards ancestor being the previous ruler of the world gives him a legit reason for wanting the throne and I don’t see Luffy wanting to crush that dream.

If anything it will be a personal fight as revenge for Ace.

Yeah the most likely reason atm. why they would fight right now is because of ace or because they would fight a gainst each other for becoming pk

Also interesting note: So far we have seen the WG not trying to collect poneglyphs ever. That does imply to me whatever the one piece is cant be even something used by imu so i dont also buy that imu will be defeated during the race to one piece thing, i doubt he ever coming down after this from his castle

Imo he will be defeated in his castle where he’s at his strongest.
