Nami is better. You are biased. Man, I read Naruto as an ongoing till 2014 and finished it there. Also, I never wanted to rewatch it or reread it. I have a good memory, so I clearly remember how Sakura beat Naruto like crazy. It was never funny. Also, I dislike Sakura for other reasons than just beating Naruto. My main problem with her character comes from her goals. Threw the whole story, her desicions was biased and stupid. She literally wasn't happy to be what she is, but all she wanted to become was like Naruto, which she failed. Someone compared her to Tsunade, but Tsunade never dreamed to became like Jiraya or Orochimaru. She became a strong woman just because of her own desires, and she was happy with the position that she acquired. So yeah, I dislike Sakura so much. She didn't become anyone. As for her decision to kill Sasuke...I'm not going to even say how dumb it was.
On the other hand, we have Nami, who is happy to be what she is. She is strong willed young woman who knows what she wants and is doing what she wants. So yeah, the difference is there.
But the worst part in Kishimoto's female writing comes from the fact that almost all his female characters wanted to become like some other male character.
The only character who was biased, like in Naruto manga, in One Piece was Yamato. Shitty character that almost everyone dislikes. But then again whole of Wano was written with an agenda to make fun of the ninja(Kishimoto) theme. Hinata decided to be like Naruto. Neji decided to be like Naruto. Sakura wanted to become Naruto. Tsunade was inspired by Naruto. This is sooo dumb.
Imagine Boa, who decided to become Luffy
