I would have been more interested in it if it wasn't a shameless rip-off of Devilman.
to be fair a lot of mangas rip off other ones
even going back into the 90s-2000s there were clear inspirations for some mangas, one of the main characters of naruto was heavily based off one of the main characters for yu yu hakusho for example
that's just how it is, but it does seem like csm does enough to differentiate itself from just being devilman 2.0

1180: The Cruel Conqueror
  • Chapter starts right where the action left off, with everyone reacting in surprise to Saint Nerona Imu's descent onto Elbaf
  • To assert his absolute power over the island, Imu unleashes another massive, terrifying burst of Conqueror's Haki
  • The sheer force of this attack is so devastating that it creates a giant crack in the branches of the Treasure Tree Adam
  • Imu notices and approaches the stunned onlookers to question them
  • Imu specifically speaks to Elbaf, Luffy, and those who carry the Will of "D"
  • He issues a chilling ultimatum directly to their faces: "Will you accept my domination? Or will you choose death?"
  • The scene changes to Blackbeard, who is moving forward with his dream to create his own kingdom
  • On the final two pages (an AWESOME double page spread), we get a HUGE lore drop: it is heavily implied that Teach and the Davy Tribe are actually the royalty of a certain Great Kingdom that was destroyed 800 years ago
some parts of this are true

But Most of this is fake bro lol
