I just think he comes off as way more forced and try hard on Oda's part now, while pre TS, Zoro was a genuinely good character who actually felt cool in a non artificial way.

The attack names are whatever I guess. It'll come off as bit cringe for any DF user, imo. Certainly the yappathons Zoro uses.

- Lucci and Zoro fought in background, but one attack is all it took to finish lucci.



EoS buffs are the biggest and we are yet to see them.
Wano luffy went from one shot to , top tier in a single arc.

Did other attacks land on Lucci? Is the fact that it was named really what changed the entire situation? Plus, all fights will eventually end in one attack

Luffy getting crazy powerups isn't shocking, he's the MC. Why would I assume that side characters get them though? Most shonens end with the side cast being completely irrelevant, and OP isn't looking any different.

I disagree tbh. Zoro’s among my favorite characters but you can tell pretty much from the beginning that he’s manufactured to be “the cool guy”

3 swords, bandana, works out 24/7, endurance monster, cool one liners in every fight, level headed (mostly)

“I never pray to god” or Arlong saying that he’s too dangerous to be left alive, every other character saying he reminds them of a demon, telling Kaku that his swords hunger for blood, etc

None of this is new

I just think that Oda used to balance this out better with goofy Zoro moments. Now he’s almost strictly the cool guy instead of the cool guy that can goof off with everyone else

All fights have morr than 5 attacks at the very least to finish the match.
All Zoro took was one named attack.

Gear 5 took 3 namrd attscks and worst part we got was lucci got back up in seconds lol.
