Wait, Zoro prefaces all his Asura attacks with "Kiki" (鬼気), meaning "demon aura."

(Omen)
(Demon Aura for Asura)

ZORO UPSCALE
- Imu's name (イム) can form the kanji for Buddha (仏). It's a title given to those who have escaped the cycle of rebirth & suffering.

- Zoro has several Buddhist-themed attacks, most notably Asura. The meito Enma that Zoro wields is named after the king of hell in JP Buddhism. And Enma's origins are derived from Yama, the Hindu god of death.

- Imu uses "Maki" (魔, or demonic aura) for his Omen attack.

- Zoro uses "Kiki" (鬼, or demon aura) for all his Asura attacks.

In the end this chapter or the past chapter in general prove my point that Oda strongest ability when it come to fights, is when people with devilfruits are fighting..
I know God Valley was just a flashback and Xebec vs Roger&Garp wasn't bad, but the visuals as well as the tension and the skills are on a completely different level in fights with devil fruits than without fruits and just Haki.

It confirms to me that Oda is simply good at using skills and that devil fruits are one of his strengths, best shown in his manga instead of pure Haki users.
I'm also aware that he didn't want to give a lot of spoilers in the God Valley fight, but I'm still very skeptical about Shank's crew, especially because of that.

Yeah, I'm glad to see Devil Fruits and versatility remain important, if not the most important thing.

Bro can't even research properly.

He says all Asura attack starts with 鬼気 which is incorrect, ONLY ONE attack is called Kiki Kyutoryu: Ashura
Another mistake because researching is too difficult, 鬼気 means ghastly and/or dreadful, not "demon aura"
