I dont see imu using his tail as some acknowledgement of his skills, just the opposite. Like Zoro's swords meant little to him so he didn't deign to block it with his blade.

I was talking about the element of surprise. Zoro obviously has no idea about Imu's physiology, why would he expect a tail?

Now, do you really want me to go through examples of this? I'll give one off the bat: Sommers first set of thorns managed to block Gaban when he rushed in, but even coated, they didn't stop Gaban on his further attacks.

Both sanji and zoro were helpless and ineffectual here. Trying to go "nuh uh, zoro was shown stronger! nuh uh, sanji was!" is dumb on both sides, they got the exact same treatment here: as meaningless to Imu

Basics: Zoro's stronger, that's why he'll always fight a guy literally literally called 1 while Sanji will fight a guy called 2. What else do you want? Lol

There are different scenarios in this chapter so you should read the posts a bit more carefully because I'm also willing to discuss beyond the basic here.

Because using a scenario where a character (that's human, mind you) wanted to get killed by something is a nonsensical argument
