Powers & Abilities Sanji buff incoming?

We’ve all speculated Sanji being part Lunarian which would explain his flames and durability that come from his Germa genes.

We’ve also speculated the white flames or black flames as a buff. This chapter made that come full circle for me.

Imu is also speculated to have some Lunarian genes and we just saw him kick the shit out of Sanji with black flames. Imu just Diable Jambe’d Sanji.

My question is will that experience lead to Sanji unlocking the black flames at some point down the line and having a DJ similar to Imus? Would you prefer that over ACoC?

Or is this a bunch of bullshit because Imu’s flames are devil fruit related not Lunarian related?

What are your thoughts?

The part that makes it seem unlikely that Sanji will get it is the interaction it has with the Holy knights. But that doesn’t remove the possibility that Sanji could have something similar without the added effect.

Maybe not same fire properties but AdvCOC will unlock new flames for him.

He certainly would need COC now that Sommers and Killingham have buffs.

I'm expecting Omen buff to be stronger than Domi Reversi.

Sanji kicks with Nuke power like Imu.

Neither Sanji nor Imu are Lunarians but Sanji is likely to get an upgrade to his flames in the future anyway.

I don't subscribe to any "secret Lunarians" theory.

As far as this chapter goes, I think his upgrades might be enough. If that kick was just fire and sheer force, then even with CoC it's probably not enough to overtake his Regen and durability. And of course he has his own Haki.

Sanji getting black flames seems most likely.
Especially if Imu has a curly eyebrow currently hidden by his hair.
Sanji's mom gonna be a descendent of Imu's race/clan.

Black Flames and CoC.

We already know somehow Sanji is able to cancel the HKs regeneration which means either he’s unconsciously using CoC like Zoros Ashura, or his flames have unique power that will be expanded on.

I can see both Zoro and Sanji eventually using this demonic shit if its haki related rather than a fruit. Both have done the whole "ill be a demon to help luffy" thing for their upgrades

I think its telling that Oda has started drawing Ifrit as a star-shaped flame, because it would be easier to show the lightning trails when he combines ifrit with Advanced CoC. However, his final power up will be black flames.

2 upgrades is minimum because it's the needed powerlevel Zoro needs to beat Mihawk. 3 is optimal.

- Zoro's X upgrade = Sanji FS

- Zoro's black blade = Sanji CoC + ACoC

Not sure about the flames. It's possible :

- Zoro's Y upgrade = Sanji flames

X / Y being stats upgrade ala Exoskeleton.

Black flames must be the result of Supreme King haki infusion.

Other power up will be Future sight, and maybe observation killer.

In between these something about his "germa mode" (eyebrows switch) but really I don't know what's Oda's idea about it. Considering the SBS he left open the germa modifications story line.
