To be clear I think Imu will be defeated in a group battle with Luffy shouldering most of the work. I still think there’s too much evidence showing that Davy Jones will ultimately kill Imu and Teach takes his fruit, and then Luffy fights Teach 1v1.
I’ve said it before, but Imu is the post timeskip version of Whitebeard. The more you start to compare where the two of them fall in the story, the more it becomes completely obvious.
Both Imu and Whitebeard were introduced halfway into their respective halves of the story, both Imu and Whitebeard are the overwhelmingly powerful time bomb threatening to go off and throw the end of their halves of the story into chaos, both Imu and Whitebeard have “devil” allusions.
Whitebeard was defeated in a group battle against the Navy (“the world”), Imu will be defeated in a group battle against “the world” (Luffy’s allies/allied Kingdoms) as well.
Teach killed Whitebeard, Davy Jones (Teach’s ancestor) will kill Imu. Davy Jones being “cursed by a demon and living on the sea floor” was already established, so the stage is set for him to have beef with Imu and kill Imu.
We already know Teach will get a third fruit given all of the “three” motifs surrounding him. His second fruit was Whitebeard’s fruit, his third fruit will be Imu’s fruit.
The irl Blackbeard was heavily associated with Satan and the Devil by the largely Christian world, so the only 3rd fruit that would make sense for Teach is a Satanic type fruit (Imu). Also Teach has the strongest Logia and the most destructive Paramecia, it only makes sense that his third fruit would be the most powerful Zoan (Imu).
I could go on but yeah Teach getting Imu’s fruit is so obvious it’s painful.
Whitebeard was never Luffy's enemy. Luffy never even made a goal to defeat WB. Imu is not WB; he represents everything that Luffy and even Teach hate. Luffy and Teach are from the D. clan, and Imu is from the gods' clan. Imu committed so many crimes that only Freeza from DBZ can be compared to him. And we know about him only tip from the icebearg.
More to this, Imu is already nerfed, but still, there's basically no one in SH who can stay and fight against him. This is the way Oda introduces the idea of the Final Fight against Imu. Right now, he is weakened, but in the Final Fight, he will be absolutely broken. If Teach by some crazy move will be able to absorb him, I'm putting money on it, Imu will return eventually.
Plus to this, Imu's fruit is too complex for Teach to even release its full potential. Teach wouldn't be able to show the full potential of Gura Gura fruit, or Yami Yami. Oda will never do something like killing the biggest enemy of D. clan by coincidence, without showing a real full force fight.

I know you are trolling but lets say oda introduced imu as a character from shandora 900 years ago with tokis fruit or some shit where we have no idea with how his powers currently, and he stated he is an ancient ruler or something and pluck him in this chapter

I fail to see any characterization that he is not a regular guy with powers we dont fully understand just now.
Joyboy was a regular dude too and he can do haki knots and probally other shit we dont know or yet is not explained

Whitebeard was known by all, he was called a Devil but in truth he was one man with one heart as he said. He was feared by all but at the end of the day he was a good man with one heart.
