One ting that was really odd about Imu last chapter was him asking who the King of Elbaf was even though she should be aware that they have no King (I mean he tried to make Domi-Dorry and Domi-Broggy Kings for that reason)
He also attacked the giants minimally which is odd given he was talking about breaking their spirit or sumin when he first descended on Elbaf via possession of Gunko.


So I think he might still be trying to preserve the Elbaf army in order to use them as his puns in the future.
So maybe Sommers went to procure a ship or something

I think imu's asking "who is the king of elbaph ?" was in a sarcastic tone.

Otherwise it would indicate that imu have dementia and forget thinks or the devil fruit itself have control over imu and is speaking through imu.

Making imu somewhat like teach who have theorized to have multiple personalities (3 personality)
