Pandora is another Legend. I mean, when you are reading manga and don't know who will die next - that's a crazy feeling. Because it made the story unpredictable. You were just reading manga when everyone would die.

As for D.Gray Man. Finally, we got to the Mansion...so the end is closer than it was when the Mansion was mentioned for the first time(I became DGM fan exactly right on eternal break, that happened when that chapter released). I also believe that almost everyone will die in the Final, like in Pandora.

It's going to be interesting for sure.

Lowkey you shouldn't allow any true villains in that like platinum sperm. Supporting characters should be supporting good guy characters.
Isn't PS like a sidekick or smth right now?

One Piece is my favorite manga and probably the best I’ve ever read but at the same time I don’t think it’s possible for any manga to become legendary

First off, is there any world renowned Japanese literature to begin with? On the same level or close to Shakespeare I mean?

They have world class directors (you hear Kurosawa’s name fairly often even in the US) but when it comes to literature people usually turn to Europe and China

I don’t think manga will ever be able to stand in the same ring as far as that goes. I think I can acknowledge that from a historical point of view OP may be brought up because of sales figures

But I have a hard time believing it’ll make a mark writing wise. Will any manga?
Well depends how we define legendary. Writing wise? Transcending the medium? DBZ for instance, while being an average manga or below average even, transcends the medium its in.

World renowned? Hardly. They do have some influential ones, prolly the most famous one recently would be Haruki Murakami.

It's a good question. Maybe OP will be brought up due to sales figures alone, but that shouldn't indicate quality.

Will any manga be put on a pedestal like that? It'd say no.

Is there manga out there that could be close to it? Maybe not Shakespeare etc, but I'd wager stuff like Monster and Berserk could have a shot.

Oh cool, I'm currently watching the anime for the first time.

Because of the show, I now understand @Tyki_Mikk user name and the character on his profile picture lol.
Cool

Our DGM fanbase grew. TAC and @Natalija are also on board

We have a DGM thread here, too. When you get to the up-to-date chapter, join the discussions.
Usually, when a new chapter is released, @Cross_Marian mentions everyone, so you can tell us when we can mention you too, so you will be able to join the discussions of fresh chapters.

DBZ was cool, especially the Frieza arc. But then for me it fell off. I will try once to watch DBS(idk right now when)...because I wasn't satisfied with the Cell and Majin Boo arcs.
