Katakuri in King's situation would definitely be able to damage Sanji. Now that we know that King wasn't able to hurt Sanji in his RS, he really doesn't look that great anymore.

No, that’s HIS logic and yes, by his logic luffy having a devil fruit is the only way to keep up with zoro and sanji.

So Luffy uses Df to keep up with them and Zoro with his swords and sanji with his leg while he is a superhuman so now he can't keep up and needs a suit to boost all of his stats

I wouldn’t give up on King just yet lol, Hybrid Pageone having a better showing than disarmed-Dino form King shouldn’t be really that surprising, we’ve been knowing Kaido is very impressed with the strength of the Flying 6 lol.
