Fujishiro

Its going to be daijobu.
So even in your own interpretation, Imu is completely redundant. Lmfao
As is BB overthrowing Imu only for him to be overthrown as well, alas this is what we have to work with lmfao.

You correctly point out that Blackbeard is the embodiment of the inherited Will villain, since he inherited the Will of Davy Jones (who Imu is still afraid of btw), but then you’re like “well Imu could be this too!”
The mural depicts Imu fighting Joyboys alliance, tell me why.

Proof that you don’t understand how stories are structured. Making Oda create one inherited will villain, but then having the final villain be another inherited will villain, would be like if Oda introduced a second Akainu, Imu is completely redundant by your own interpretation since Blackbeard fits the inherited will trope far better than Imu does. We don’t even know anything about who Imu supposedly inherited his will from? Lol
Youre contradicting yourself, we dont know who Imu inheritted his will from so you cant say that he fits the trope better. lol.

Your ending to the story is literally “here’s an inherited will final villain. Okay, now here’s another inherited will final villain.” Lol
Your ending to the story is '' We gonna have a mindless creature fighting everyone.'' Lol.

How is my ending to the manga vapid when your ending to the story is just the exact same theme repeated twice for no clear reason.
Except its not isnt it Lee?

Under my ending to the story, Imu is a subverted final villain trope distracting from the true, hidden, primordial evil that caused the calamity of the first world. Under your ending to the story, Imu is just “here’s Blackbeard again!” Lol
The fact that you view those two characters as similar when they are entirely different villain tropes is just funny to me.

Blackbeard, Luffy’s true foil and the embodiment of the inherited Will trope, and the Sea Devil, the calamity of the OP world and the primordial causal evil, each fulfill their own unique narrative roles and are not just copy/pasting of the exact same theme. They each fulfill their own separate but equally important roles.
Ah yes, Blackbeard the total opposite of Luffy oh wait. Hes not though. Blackbeard and Imu fulfill different roles.

If we want to count inherited wills there dragon that is the half way point between certain aspect of the story .
Really that aspect al over the manga and so many characters have it but just small aspect make them very differnt .

Because the mural depicts that specific point in history. Nobody ever said the mural was supposed to depict 100% of all history in its entirety. Lol

It was you who said Imu inherited his will from someone, not me. lol

A calamity, not a creature. Yes thats how these stories tend to go. It’s either the primordial causal entity (Kaguya/the Sea Devil) or the true foil (Sasuke/Blackbeard) not the subverted big bad (Imu/Madara)

Doesnt need to lol. Its written differently than other fruits for a reason lol.
Nah we explicitly have the strongest logia confirmed and the strongest paramecia confirmed.

I thought Kaido the head of the “beast” pirates would have the strongest zoan but then he got fruit mogged by a couple zoans with one of them outright being an upgrade on his fruit.
