He's like the Ultimate challenge before the One Piece but nobody is paying attention to him.

It will get rid of Imu power but not power he give other people .

Every major character has suffered because of the structure of the World Government which was ruled by Imu, he should be the final boss for a better emotional ending. Like why would every nation in the world would want to fight Blackbeard? Dude’s done nothing but chase his dreams, and follow his father’s footsteps LOL

There's probably some time limit that will hinder Imu's stay in Elbaf, considering the Gorosei's reaction to him leaving, and him spitting blood when arriving. This short fight at Elbaf will serve as a stepping stone for the final conflict, which will probably be at marijoise. Imu will most likely be sidelined a while after Elbaf.

Imu is still the real final boss for the story and all the other characters. Unless we’re introduced to a primordial evil aka the real Kaguya.

Nah, Oda going all out about this man roaming at the seas in a pitch black ship, creating vortex, being afilliated with the World Gov. Is not for someone living here at Elbaph (Gaban too).

Maybe the World Gov. Stuff can be a red herring, but the rest I can see being true.
Is probably a new character we haven't meet yet.
