Speculations Nami is Celestial Dragon. She will go with Imu in the end of Elbaf

#21
As if Imu would give a damn about insect like Nami lmao
Beside he into blue-haired women :kayneshrug:
I explained why this can work:
1. She is CD, from special line;
2. She is someone important for JB Luffy, and making Luffy not able to kill Imu no matter what, that is exactly what Imu can pull out;

Imu wants revenge for the betrayal by Lily because of JB's scheme. So making "JB" crewmate betray him is a good deal for him. Domi Reversi will not happen with any SH, instead Nami will get 3 lvl covenant(hightest), and even JB wouldn't be able to break it.

This theory wants to leave Nami's dream unresolved, leave Luffy without a navigator, and allow Imu to have a way to escape death again.

Crappy theory.

The only way it works logically is if Nami somehow betrays Imu after doing it. That's what she did every other time she "betrayed" the Straw Hats. It was never a true betrayal.

First, let's compare Imu's ideology and Nami's:

Nami believes this is good for someone into her slaves/servants. Even in Elbaf, she made one more slave.

This is clearly not Joy Boy's ideology, but an ideology that belongs to Nerona Imu.
In Skypia, Nami decided to go with Enel to save her life/ass from beating.

Nami has a connection to Sky Islands. She always felt that the weather had changed. And her timeskip happened on Sky Island. Many people speculated that she went with Enel, because she felt the connection to his race.

It was no one else but Nami who felt that Imu come to Elbaf.

Instead of just walking with Imu because of fear, I believe Nami will accept the covenant with Imu. She will probably replace Gunko in it, because Gunko could betray Imu and Neron will break covenant with her.

By making Nami part of his underlings, Imu will get revenge on Joy Boy. I believe that Imu want's to make Joy Boy suffer from the betrayal that happened with him. Using Nami like that can help Imu to achieve this goal. Also if Nami gives up on her soul and her life so this covenant wouldn't be easy to break, and her life will be in hands of Imu.

This could also help with the idea of Teach, who can absorb Imu at some moment of this story. Imu will not die after absorbing but will use Nami to return to this world after BlackBeard's death. Doflamingo said that everyone will betray anyone:

Interesting that this arc started with Nami, who awakens in the Giant Castle at the beginning of this arc. And this arc will end with the same scene, when she open eyes in Marijoise.

Zeus and Omen are functioning super similar…
This would be like the fourth time the series has used a “Nami leaves” plotpoint.
I doubt Oda really cares about Nami at this point . Its all Nika toon force . She and Usopp have been relegated to unknown categories these days.
Ok, Nami has not only Zeus-like powers similar to Imu, but she also uses stuff when Imu uses a spear.
Also, Oda made it clear that Nami was the first to feel Imu's presence.
As you pointed out, this will be the fourth time in the series when Nami will leave the crew, so the idea is not far-fetched, especially if you think about the fact that Strong World never happened in the canon. So this will be the third time.

Nami's dream has nothing to do with One Piece itself. Her dream goes beyond finding the One Piece, and that is the main point.
As for losing Navigator, I can see how Oda could let Nami return to the crew and still be a part of Imu's covenant. This could happen if BB absorbs Imu, but he will still be alive and will communicate through those who have a Covenant with him. Imu can use Nami to return or even steal the One Piece. Which will be the betrayal that Doffy was talking about.

Nami leaving the crew is kinda overused at this point back then Luffy was weak now he is a Yonko and the crew is loyal to him .

I can see someone like Sommers kidnapping Nami to make her his wife . Then we can get nice little Mariejoa arc other than that i still dont see parallel with Imu , unless Oda is planning to show her past who could have been Celestial dragons .

I am open to any plot point hopefully it gets executed well i dont want Imu to be like Absalom or Orochi kind of persion . He seems real deal to me , he like Aizen of One piece basically planning two steps ahead of his enemies.

Actually, if Nami is the Celestial Dragon, this is the only option that can explain her birth. Nobles' birth in our world was always noted, because this would allow them to inherit the lineage/dynasty. This can explain why Shanks was recognized as the Celestial Dragon. So, from this, you can understand how Oda can explain Nami's lineage, even without her remembering things.

Also, this suits her Fishman history too, because if she were the Celestial Dragon, you can say she was put in the shoes of a normal human being, who suffered from hunger, pain, and pureness.

As for the whole idea of Nami leaving the crew, wasn't it really foreshadowed with Domi Reversi/Covenant thing? People even theorized who could turn DR from the Strawhats. If I'm right, then this Covenant wouldn't be broken till the end of the series, which is much better than just one arc thing.

More to that, as you said, if Nami gets this covenant, this will allow us to see the Marijoise life from the reader's perspective.

Hopefully Oda does devolve into Nami’s past but at this point i feel its too late. I kinda gave up when he revealed Zoro’s parents in sbs and i thought he would be invested in history of his clan.

It would add extra layer to her character so far she has been one dimensional post timeskip . Her random powerup was Zeus , i hope this happens but will oda take another detour like he did with Sanji ?
