Neither Imu nor Loki are fighting at their best. Loki because of his injuries from the earlier beatdown session while he was tied up in seastone and Imu due to whatever condition puts him at risk on the surface. By the time Luffy joins in, Imu will already be weakened by his injuries and his worsening health. He's already been drawn huffing and koffing for multiple panels in the last couple of chapters.

We also know that destroying Holy Knights directly affects Imu physically so Zoro's and Sanji's fights may very well affect whatever goes down between him and Luffy.
