Kaido and Harald look vaguely similar, but have nothing do to do plot wise.

Buggy and Rocks do, Oda gave them the same pose (and It's not the tongue alone, It's the hand too: the two pics are a literal mirror). Before that, there was THE OTHER "pose" too, and people already made 2+2 on Buggy.

Then, as said, you have Shanks, Buggy's spiritual brother, who turned out to be the secret son of a would be Gorosei, aka with a top world secret lineage.

Buggy saying he was a pirate god happened when Oda was still treating him like a real villain who was killing civilians and the like, it was before he was established as an Usopp like character. Itś not like his gag is that all his lies end up coming true anyway, just falling upwards, and a Yonko is pretty much the highest position you can get

Sure, we could make rationalizations for Buggy not being present for whatever reason... but what´s the point in keeping it a secret past the Rocks flashback? It would just be forced

Why would Oda reveal off the bat that Blackbeard (who is far more important than Buggy) is Xebec’s son, but still keep Buggy being Xebec’s son a secret?

The timeline doesn’t even make sense. Buggy is as old as Shanks, and Xebec was already with Eris by then, who he loved so much that he stopped simping for Shakky. Xebec randomly cheating on Eris would be dumb.
