Hell, just ask Loki. He‘s confident that he can destroy any pirate crew in the world and called Shanks a coward. And he’s backing that up with the greatest feats known to mankind. Why tf would he be lying when it comes to his own strength? Meanwhile, what’s the greatest feat that Shanks has ever done on panel. Beat an unsuspecting Kid? That’s it? 😂

People think it’s a fact that Shanks is designed to be a worse version of Roger for some reason. Half this fandom still operates off of 2010’s headcanon. @sanjikun @HeroesNZ being prime examples of this

This is what I have been saying for years at this point. After the Greenbull wifi haki feat, I just knew that this narrative that Shanks was a failed Roger was nothing but headcanon anymore. There is just no way you can look at their feats, portrayal and even narrative importance (this was a tool in Roger's favor before GV but now it's clear that Oda has replaced him into being a generic bum and his PK title isn't even that important for the overarching narrative). Shanks is literally called as important to the story as Luffy by people that know the ending and is stated to be LUFFY'S GOAL (can't believe I had to even argue about this with certain people lmfao this is the most obvious thing from CHAPTER ONE). Luffy has always glazed Shanks and strived to be like him, other than finding the One Piece, I don't even think he's mentioned Roger that many times. It's clear that Shanks is the ideal pirate Luffy is trying to chase. That coupled with the fact Shanks somehow has connections to nearly every damn top tier in the verse.. it's clear he's more important than Chicken king to the story.

Shanks > Dodger is undeniable now and the only way you can argue otherwise is by spewing dishonest narratives from the 2000s

See. I would usually agree but I also am aware that Oda seems actually incapable to make Shanks look weaker than anyone and would probably eat a toad raw than ever portray him as lesser than anyone in terms of power.

The difference is just the size. Boundman, Doffy and Dressrosa are human sized while Loki, Imu and Elbaf are larger

I'm just speaking facts. Shiryu was injured by Garp throwing him on the ground without Haki. Meanwhile a single KG managed to make Big Mom's hardened elbow rattled. This one is straight up killing that sneaky bum.

Sure, but that doesn’t mean he’ll get an extended backstory. We already got the battleship bags flashback to show how he met Garp and got so strong, the Ohara flashback to show how he started to become disillusioned with the Marines, and the bar flashback to show how he joined the BBPs
