Yes, and the topic only came into light because Loki questioned what Maki is. Imu was yapping about how his powers work lol. Imu wasn’t on recruit mode from the jump, he even knows deep down that this kind of talk won’t work against Loki. He even called Nidhogg a traitor, he declared that their battle will divide the world before even personally coming here.

Zoro was already nerfed due to his scar and had been heavily injured at Thriller Bark, from which he was still recovering. Yet he still went on to show feats on par with Luffy and Sanji against the Pacifista, while being heavily nerfed after suffering two major injuries.

If he knows it deep down then he knows that it’s futile and he was never holding back lol. He literally stabbed him through the chest with serious effort. Imu reiterating that he’s gonna kill both of them here just showed his thought process. He’s not even talking to Nika, and he’s already declaring that he’s killing him lol. It’s just lousy small talk that came about because Loki questioned what Maki is.
Submit or die is just the same as Imu calling for them to surrender before an all-out war breaks loose. That’s just a typical villain line, he was never serious in recruiting them 😂

Life return is one of the most busted abilities in this series.
I guess the milk drinking healing their teeth is, technically Life Return too.
I wonder if Lilith will realize how important food is to Luffy, and make the most nutrient dense, possible food for him to use life return with.
Meat is obviously very nutritious. Look at how much it's contributed to human civilization and animals in general. A bear didn't get that big from the berries.
But scientifically speaking, it really isn't the most nutrient dense food.
And there's no reason to believe that the modern food is comparable to what was available in the ancient kingdom.
The ancient kingdom probably had much more advanced, much healthier food. Food is medicine is an old proverb in many civilizations.
Haki is found in all living things. The reason eating fresh meat probably powers Luffy up is the Haki is still fresh in the flesh.
Lilith finding a food source much more dense than meat, and better tasting than meat, could honestly make him a vegetarian. If Lilith was able to produce artificial meat that was healthier and tastier than regular meat, Luffy would probably become a vegetarian.
I feel like this is hinted at a few times.

I've seen a lot of people say that one of Luffy's power ups is going to be food related. It's gonna be interesting to see if Vegapunk is involved in it.
Maybe Lilith making the Soda is foreshadowing this?
