He is!
People though will contineously try to downplay him based on a FILLER fight with Mihawk
I only trust Toei in Wano, before that I do not trust them!
In Wano it's clear Oda is fast tracking manga while giving anime task to fill
Before Wano, additional stuff were filler unless it was stated Oda supervised that episode (like Sabo flashback)
Jinbei was level 6 Impel Down prisoner and prisoners in that level were mostly YC level like Crocodile, Doflamingo, Ace.
Beat Moriah on panel with ease
Tanked Akainu's magma fist.
After 2 years Jinbei grew stronger. It's ridiculous to say Jinbei is not YC level.
Tbh what's up with Luffy and Zoro straight up ignoring Queen like the guy wasn't even there and trying to make their way up to Kaido nonchalantly lol?
Generally this happens when the protagonists are sure to be superior to the enemy.
Luffy and Zoro can both sense the enemy's strength with basic Coo right?
So does this mean, they think Queen is no match for both of them and just straight up ignore him? Lol that was wild and kinda dehypes Queen and the 1 billion + bounty.
What bothers me the most in this case is that it can dehype King who I like by extension as Oda always does his best to portray him with Queen every single time.
At the end of the day it can only go 2 ways;
-King and Queen's bounty are inflated, they aren't that strong.
-Zoro was already near Luffy and his training matched luffy's and Zoro is at least King in strength right now which will be a huge leap from where non Zoro fans usually scale him.
She actually has been a completely different character (in terms of competence and threat factor) in the beginning.
Remember her at the start of WCI: She was portrayed as a cunning mastermind, who knew all steps from Luffy & Co. and even managed to fool Judge & Germa into a Red Wedding situation. Then she actually no-diffed Niji and Yonji on the rooftop, while her kids took care of Luffy and the rest.
She was actually really frightening back then.
Then her tantrum after the teaparty happened and suddenly Oda did a complete 180 on her. After that moment he solely used her for gag situations. In Wano she really has been one gigantic comedic relief and that's just bullshit.
The discrepancy of her original portrayal and how she is portrayed now is just idiotic. It's not about gag moments with her, the problem is that she is ONLY one gigantic gag since the teaparty.
That wasn't really high level mastermind stuff she came up with. In fact it's something extremely simplistic that a child could devise. Pretend to want to be their ally, then betray them when they least expect it. And it was all for the sake of her own childish desire.
As far as being informed, that's because of her children, who for the most part are competent. Big Mom herself has always been portrayed as far from. He'll, even in her official introduction chapter it was all about her hunger pangs, and she was destroying her own Country. Then got subdued by puff pastries.
On the surface it might have seemed like she was competent, but when you peel back the layers, you could tell she was far from it. And that was actually the major theme of WCI, in which nothing on the surface was as it seemed.
Wrong, Zoro damage came from Queen trying to crush him in his mouth and failing and then from being thrown from a high distance. Even after all of that he only received a few minor bruises
Sanji is bleeding from the head. But don't worry he has to raid suit to protect him.
Unironically? I'm happy we finally got another spread but Jinbe was present in both spreads so its kind of sad Oda hasn't managed to include or introduce new strawhats (barring what anyone hopes or knows about Carrot/Yamato). Kind of hope we get another one of these soon that officially has the complete crew.
In retrospect, I suppose Oda was too wrapped up in focusing on Oden’s followers and the Grand Fleet, as well as Luffy’s interactions with them, for him to add many recruits into Luffy’s main crew post-time skip. Fish man Island and Whole Cake Island seem like the only exceptions in regards to main crew dynamics since those deal with Jinbe’s recruitment and Sanji’s development.
That'd actually be hilarious to see lol. Imagine Vegapunk is like this slimy guy who own the largest company in the world or something and he employs many young talents only to screw them of their inventions and efforts in the end.
1- Germa cloned soldiers existed for a long time! Yonji stated when they were kids, they were prevented to enter that room! Yet, Pacifista clones only existed recently, in last couple of years! He stole the idea, and is now credited for it
Also, Vegapunk is so cruel that he took away even the consciousness of pacifista, while although Germa soldiers sacrifice themselves for vinsmoke, they still have some awarness in their mind!
2- Ceasar gigantification was oroginally his idea, then Vegapunk is claimed to refuse it, YET, we had those Prisoners frozen in PH being experimented on.. you can never convince me Vegapunk is a holy good scientist, even if it was criminals experiminted on... that's some dark shit! Some really messed up shit... Ceasar pointed it out
Then Vegapunk was stated to have his NEW invention that will allow Navy to discard Shichibukai... I wonder what that is???? Yes, it's the Giant kids who were escorted by Smoker/Tachigi to Vegapunk... He realized some shit about Ceasar work and he's about to take most of the credit about perfect gigantification!
- Vegapunk probably wanted to control something about Shonukuni, which is why he accused Ceasar of being immoral, and it lead to Ceasar snapping, cause he knew Vegapunk was already messed up cause he expermints on prisoners like rats!
@Ice devil slayer help a fellow zoro stan out. Regarding King and Queen being and not being swordsman.
It is the same narrative, people want queen to be a swordsman because that gives a plausibility to say now he will definitely fight Zoro. It's not assinine when plausible deniability comes into play and that's Zoro having a stronger opponent in Wano than Sanji
Lets say its not, When was the last main fight zoro and sanji had together did Sanji fight someone stronger than zoro when fully/near full stamina?
And who said King is stronger than Queen? To me they look equal as of now. And why should Zoro face a stronger opponent than Sanji in Wano just because he did on previous two occasions more than a decade ago? And even in those occasions their opponents were very close in strength and Sanji didn't even struggle as much as Zoro did.
I don't like to complicate things, and only go by what's happening in the present. And for now Sanji vs King and Zoro vs Queen, and to a lesser extent SvK and Zoro vs Jack if Zoro follows Luffy to Kaido, are the two most propable scenarios. That doesn't mean the other scenarios can't happen, but the previous two are the most propable.

Onigashima is much too small for two Yonkos to fight and go out here, and there are still many actors on the mainland and from the outside who aren't here to take part in the war of Wano yet.

Because Zoro is and has always been stronger than Sanji.
Look at Zoro's and Sanji's 2 main opponents where they were and are now
Sanji: Mr 2 and Jabra- both MIA (Yet to be updated)
Zoro: Mr 1 and Kaku- 1 is the right hand man of Crocodile and the other is part of CP0
The most probable assumption based off last chapter would be... Zoro and Luffy facing Kaido and then Sanji facing King. If Zoro didnt initially ignore Queen it would be a different Story.
Powerscaling can be debated at a later time because that's a whole other topic that can go on for hours
What I mean is... It can be that Vegapunk isn't the smartest of the bunch, rather he just executed their ideas at the very end and he took most of the credit
