Since WCI, the quality of flashbacks is just great.

We have dark twists, great characters and a sense of danger and tension which does not exist in the present.

Oden, Kuma, Loki and now Brook. I was immediately hooked.

Although interesting, the Imu vs Loki fight is not exciting enough. When the Strawhats are involved in anything, it feels the same.

Maybe it's the predictability and plot armor fatigue.

I'd argue that Oden flashback was shit, but I am biased because I hate Oden way too much.
So I'd swap Law's FB with Oden's and we're good.

Overall, I really liked Kuma's and Xebec's stories because we finally are getting the full picture, with some lore drops and more characterisation for the WG. So yeah, I am kina excited to see Brook's story, especially since it seems to be tied to MJ, HK and will reveal more OP world building.

Because odiddy can write actual stakes and deaths in flashbacks instead of writing the usual mickey mouse retardation where nobody is allowed to die

Tho he has even retroactively brought back characters that died in flashbacks. But still, a flashback means some kind of tension/stake/seriousness which modern one piece sorely lacks
