Controversial Why Teach and Akainu would make better final villains than Imu

#1
You see I see Oda making the same mistake as Kishimoto. Sure he introduced the final villain overlord earlier, but does that make it a better choice?

When it comes to iconic villains in the series, Akainu and Blackbeard are amongst the beacon of light that is unmatched by even Crocodile and Dolflamingo. Why is this the case? Being reoccurring. This is something the readers have grown up with. Seeing both Akainu and Blackbeard for quite a long stretch of the manga. Blackbeard since Mock Town, and Akainu since CP9 Robins flashback. These are both formative arcs in the series.

Then we come to Big Papazuki Sakazuki Glorious King whom mogs Imu to hell and back then back to hell.
He is familiar. He has a devil fruit. He has the aura of an Admiral. He defeated so many people on Marineford and was going to kill the most annoying character in the series (Koby). He has been built up fo YEARS ON YEARS. THE Community has made countless videos on Sakazuki, countless theories.
Not to mention both Akainu and Blackbeard are pivotal in the most important arc of the series thus far, that being Marineford which basically caused the 2 Year Timeskip.

Well there was barely a dozen chapters left in Naruto before Kaguya as opposed to almost ten years of introduction. I had always acknowledged the Elders as end game villains and there would always be someone at the helm as opposed to five figureheads, Imu just happens to be the face to soak in everyones ire. The void century was always the overarching plot and mystery which was always gonna be the source of why the characters would search for One Piece to begin with. I understand the idea of Blackbeard because of how he’s been written, but as an Akainu stan myself it was never gonna be him as much as this is Luffy’s most inevitable and personal matchup outside of Shanks, hell even more so than Shanks. If all the admiral characters were team Sakazuki and on board with his ideologies it would have been possible. A las the marines are treated as the preliminary WG threat and might even go down as an independent faction before we even hit the final war unfortunately.
