My fear of a Jarul flashback has grown giant. Pun intended.
My one hope is that Candel is a God's Knight, and we see her do things outside the country. It's interesting to consider how many characters would actually be alive at this point of time in the story. Mostly giants right.
There's a chance we get more giant stuff in this chapter, because there's some of the only characters from the modern era that would actually be alive right now in this flashback.
Harald visited fishman island and Wano seventy years ago, which is when this flashback is occurring.
I think we're gonna see more Harald here, since he was traveling around at this time.

But we know that he must be a central figure in this flashback as Gunko doesn’t just have the simple HK regeneration like Garling or Sommers, but rather the immortality of the Gorosei where she doesn’t age.

we knew this flashback would happen, but the timing is wrong. Imagine stop to this point of the arc where the other characters match ups are already set up and the main villain appears, even the MC preparing to fight him to show this backstory
