Akainu was the OG badass that owned the WSM WB, owned luffys brother and played with him like a toy, took on entire WB pirates all by himself, defeated aokiji and became FA, broke the MC Luffy mentally and send him in a time skip, has the most crazy power, lava, Yakuza design and real like japanese actor Inspiration, mocked the 5 gorosei that they are useless and someone is above them.

Was hyped by Oda himself that akainu would become pirate king in less then a year

Oda outdone himself with akainu and then let go with every other villain.


He should be final villain not Emo, sorry, Imu

Akainu has haters still to this day cuz of Marineford. Cant get much cooler than that. Blackbeard and I’m haven’t done shit.

getting an asspull power up just to spam that skill Boro breath, something Kaido was surprised someone as strong as Post Ryuou Luffy could tank, aka spamming that skill? No just using once every 30 minutes something Kaido never did just to hold back a casual Admiral like Greenbull.

Akainu is for sure the antagonist that has left the greatest impression on me. dude is ruthless, brutal, cunning and mad powerful. but he has been left aside for too long and I don't see how he is going to have the same impact as a villain later on, now that Luffy has become so powerful. so I am rooting for a Darth Vader scenario where he changes sides and goes against the World Government
