I think Blackbeard has the Imu fruit because:

* Gomu fruits and yami fruits have parallels

* Paramecia and logia, weakest vs strongest, put into a neutral ground, zoan, the weakest overcomes the strongest

* Nika/Joyboy and Imu seem to be more abstract beings, not like normal humans, Nika has Jesus parallels and Imu has devil parallels





I think Nika fights Imu because:

* Joyboy has Messiah themes

* Emeth confirmed Luffy is not Joyboy

* Imu's too strong

* Blackbeard's fruit would make sense to be the zoan Imu fruit, Luffy fights him

* this parallel:

* Kaido wins, then Nika powers show up and save the alliance

* Same with Imu, Imu is too strong, Nika shows up and defeats him

* also Satan is called a red dragon, if Imu's skin is red too then at that point it's like come on

* plus hellfire serpent exists
