General & Others Danzo no Izanagi vs 4th Raikage

While Danzo doesn't scale too much behind, due to his fight with Sasuke, I don't think you can get around the fact that he is ultimately beat by the Raikage in stats, especially given the fact that he can boost himself with V2 and the like. Having Izanagi and Koto feels like it would be pretty essential for Danzo to win here. Though, the Raikage comes off as a little dumb and reckless, I don't think it would be impossible for Danzo to catch him in a genjutsu....
(also, I do believe that a Prime Danzo who scales a good bit beyond the Sanin does exist, but since we have little to no info on that, I don't want to get into fanfiction tier headcanon, but Danzo is portrayed as one step behind Hiruzen, not 10 steps, he was likely strong before he stole Shisuis eye, which just helps him maintain Kage level strength in his old age)

V1 Ay was easily handling Sasuke and V2 Ay even dodged Amaterasu. Meanwhile, Danzo got tagged by slower attacks. This guy wasted 10 sharingans on MS Sasuke who spammed his MS techniques likd a lunatic. Even base Killerbee performed better than Danzo.
This guy isn't surviving a minute against Ay without all his special abilities. No joke.

Sasuke's chidori couldn't even get completely through the armor.
Danzo's Fuuton jutsus are nearly not as potent as Sasuke's Chidori. At V2, Ay's chakra was straight compared to a Biju:
It sure would be a different match-up if Danzo had all his skills but you excluded all the important jutsus like Izanagi or Koto in this battle, especially against someone like Ay who can even blitz MS Sasuke.
Sasuke legit used his Susanoo immediately when Ay used Laiga Bomb:
It still damaged Susanoo.

Let's be honest, Danzo would have had far more chakra during that fight if he was utilizing his body + 3T to evade attacks rather than using very chakra consuming izanagis.
More chakra for attacking and more for blocking with his woodstyle that is fast enough to blitz arrow

wtf? Danzou is getting erased lmao. If he had his full arsenal then yea he prolly wins cause Koto is just stupidly broken. But tha second you restrict it. Danzou doesn’t have a wincon, we literally saw At was able to tag and outspend KCM1 Naruto in tha war at sum points…so yea wtf is Danzou supposed to do hea!?
I've just been thinking. I just don't like scaling Danzo with izanagi or having izanagi as apart of his kit
because unlike his MS they don't recharge, it seems once he uses them they remain closed. For example even if he won against Sasuke he would not have access to izanagi anymore unless he was able to find more eyes. What do you think about this? @SakazOuki

Don’t forget people automatically exclude koto from Danzo discussions, in actual canon Danzo neg diffs most characters with this genjutsu. As a base fighter he’s solid but when you talk superpowers like EMS Sasuke with his susanoo and amaterasu, or 4th raikage with blitzing speed and power, Danzo can’t keep up no matter how you look a it. I don’t think Danzo is gonna need much Izanagis to deal with raikage, maybe one or two are enough. Sasuke was different because he had a MS and susanoo to bail his ass out.

Yes, I suppose I just have some grievance that Danzo's greatest source of power (besides koto) is Izanagi that won't recharge and he effectively loses forever once he has used it, so I like to think of how strong he is without izanagi. The portrayal I think being he collected sharingan in the meantime but was eventually wanting to get a more permanent source of power such as the rinnegan, maybe something related to the tailed beasts, maybe furthering his own MS sharingan, or get better control over woodstyle idk
But I do wonder too, if he relied on Orochimaru who he is now estranged with to implant his sharingan, why he planned to collect Sasuke & Obito's for himself?
