You mean, when it became the Goku and Vegeta Power Hour and every other supporting character meant fuck all.
Also, with how many blatant fanservice moments Bulma had in DB, I rather doubt Toriyama entirely was for shits and giggles.
Gunko's outfit is dumb, though. It should at least look like a Fire Emblem Pegasus Knight’s tunic.

Well, it was at least not as blatant obvious due to the comedy elements and Akira was way younger.
At least he stopped, whereas Oda, the older he get's the more degenerate and deprived content he draws for some reason.
A guy in his mid -late twenties doing some light hearted panty jokes 40 years ago about a 15- 16 years old cartoon character, isn't nearly as bad as some dude in his early to mid 50s with kids and a wife constantly drawing kids looking like grown women physically, in tight and revealing clothes....Asside from that, the entire manga is plagued with over sexualization, DB is peanuts compared to that.

@TheAncientCenturion @soupongo Would it have been better if, rather than having the fodder White Zetsu army, Obito instead had an army of Shinobi who agreed with his plan during the war arc? It’s kinda silly how Madara, Obito, and Kisame were apparently the only Shinobi in the verse who were in favor of the Infinite Tsukuyomi
