The gap between luffy and imu is massive though. Luffy couldn't even hurt topman. He is stronger sure but him jumping 2-3 tiers simply by eating more food is hard to buy. Imu is much much stronger than yonko level characters.

I've been waiting to see Luffy's Gear 4 forms in Gear 5. No reason he can't adapt them.

And, since his OG Gear 4 forms were fairly simple, I think Gear 5 will give him some whacky new forms.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I think gears 2-4 were reflections of his limitations. Like he wanted to flatten and spin people like pizza dough but had to settle for just punching them really fast

Luffy was tweaking out over Imus haki, so much so that while healthy and full he kept eating and he was going to eat all the food stating that they cant win if hes doesnt keep eating.

So looks to me like this Luffy will be a good bit stronger then his normal state in G5.

Luffy never sensed Kizaru’s Haki because Kizaru didn’t even use Haki against Twika’s weak ass, Luffy only sensed Kizaru’s presence, not his Haki

I think so.

Since Vegapunk stated Devil Fruits are the desires of people, it's entirely possible you can evolve your own Fruit, IMO.

Would be cool if the Nika Fruit WAS the Gomu Gomu no Mi, and became the Nika Fruit through the past Joy Boy's efforts.
