Doesn't matter. His been smile diffing Loki this entire time. If he now pulls out even newer abilities, then that confirms he was holding back against Loki this entire time, and therefore the abilities he used against Loki were all his "holding back" abilities this entire time.
He didn't use those new abilities (the ones we'll see him use against Luffy) until Luffy came into the fight.

Nope. All it takes a change of demeanor (the smiles his been giving Loki this entire time) and that'll be more then enough to confirm it.

Luffy not using Haki or ACoC on EH never made sense.
Oda already explain that even if it lazy.
Luffy has or had to learn to use haki better which is something that comes will all forms of haki .
I don't like haki that much but that was something that build in since the start.
