Anyways, what I meant earlier is that it just feels Oda is trying way too hard making Imu as the Super-Powerful Ultra End Boss of Bosses, to me. Like most other villains didn't need so many bells and whistles.

And yes, in Gear 5, Luffy is indeed a low-level reality warper...but he also doesn't have regeneration or a magic fire either.

I presume a stipulation of whatever treaty the WG forced on them was eradication of history. Plus, Jarul is an outlier, most Giants don't live *that* long.
