So, this guy Growlo or whatever, he was a leader of Holy Knights before Garling?
Considering that he is sharing the same position as Garling and Shamrock, it seems he is a big deal.

Note that he is no longer holding that position since whenever Garling took it.
Logically, the main reason why he would lose that position would be if he advanced as Garling did and became an Elder.

However, we know that Elders count only five...
So, he is either dead, killed by someone in the past or he is on a special assignment that made leadership over HKs inconvenient for him.
An assignment such as that of the man with the Burn Scar. This could very well be him otherwise I dont see a point of introducing someone like him here and now...

If that is truly so, then this is a man Imu seems to single handedly trust in guarding the last piece of the poneglyph puzzle. Which is rather amazing to think about cause this equates to having value to Imu.

Yeah, I thought Imu would have some special power making him invincible to anything but the special DF's, but I guess not.

He's also easier to injure than DR Rocks.....which just makes that a really weird plot point now lmao? What even is that Haki defense technique, and does literally no one else in the story have it?


Still tho, besides Luffy and Loki, Imu can literally Domni Reversi any character in the story and tell them to go to the ocean, which is like ridiculously broken.

On a side note, we probably should have had Greenbull or Mars fight and lose to the Strawhats/Loki before Imu arrived at the very end of the arc. Greenbull in specific you could tie into the Elbaf plotline pretty easily since he would be more racist towards giants in general as opposed to Imu being racist to all non CD's, and obviously he could have merged with the big tree, and tbh, I don't think there's really any point to keep like 10 WG top tiers in the waiting room until the very end of the story, and you could pretty easily justify him wanting to go after Luffy after being cucked in Wano, and finding out he was causing problems for the WG in Egghead. Even if you think Luffy would just win easily, you could have it just be a mid diff fight, and if everything was shown well, I don't think people would really mind

The Gods Knights weren't completely bad and I do like their DF's, but it was pretty obvious to everyone that Luffy would have stomped them, besides Gunkimu, who feels really useless now plot wise, since Imu actually coming in person was treated like a super big deal, and Luffy, Imu and Loki were acting like they were meeting for the first time after Imu arrived, which just feels awkward. Gunko should probably just have been a regular Gods Knight without a specific connection to Imcel

Coz he’s a bloody quack & not really consistent with PLs. He just always writes what he feels like lol. I don’t even care about the base Luffy punch tbh. Luffy will get in his time in the sun like Loki did but will ultimately get whopped as is usually the case. Oda’s prolly saving the Nika reveal for another panel hence why he prolly had Luffy appear in base here.

Also doesn’t really feel like Oda’s shown what Imu’s really capable of yet tbh, feels like he’s capped for whatever reason this arc.

Idk, I thought Imcel would be more associated with Hax, and be at least DR Xebec level durable, since Xebec didn't even want to clash and he's been undefeated for 800 years, while Kaido obviously got introduced letting us know he could be injured with the emphasis being on him not getting killed, and he was getting injured by the Samurai even before Luffy showed up.

I think Imcel should have at least got Kizaru level aura farming here, he really shouldn't be portrayed like a dumb brute who gets hit a lot. Even Doffy would be a better model here

Nah Luffy was just massively holding back against Lizaru and not using ACOC.

This attack would 1 tap and kill Lizaru.

Loki's other attacks would've 1 tapped the foddermirals as well.

Its just that Luffy is that insanely strong, and the clowns that were hating on him previously, got clowned. Simple.

It's not really about Kaido being hurt but him getting literally blitzed, boxed and overpowered by base Luffy that just unlocked crude aCOC (and unlike Imu his focus wasn't on anyone else) because Oda wanted to give his MC a cool (re) entrance.
It's very possible Oda has Imu regen and looks unscathed next chapter with Luffy complaining about it btw
