Their rivalry is an ongoing Gag. They are never gonna fight in actuality to prove who is stronger, Just like Natsu/Gray, Naruto/Sasuke... were rivals outside of gags... one of them was always clearly superior.
Same goes for Shanks and Mihawk, one is always the stronger one.
Sanji had an entire arc to himself in WCI and Zoro still managed to out perform him.

When Gaban was confirmed to have CoC, it was obvious that Sanji was soon going to have one as well.

ZBoys were in massive denial and were coping for years, acting like Zoro was the only special one, even though plenty of others also had CoC.

Is that G2/3/4 Luffy or G5 Luffy? You don't think Sanji can outlast the 10 minutes round of G5?

All forms are allowed for Luffy, doesnt change much.
Giant gears are useless against Sanjis speed so it is speed vs speed.
Without gigantic hits Luffy is significantly inferior damage dealer but he is significantly better tank than Sanjino.
Luffy G5 was more or less Luccis ballpark, if we give Lucci aCoC as well.
Luffy can choose to go with G2 which is probably the best choice here if he doesnt wanna gas out.
