There’s that too, but the bigger you are, the more AoE your attacks usually cover. Imu could’ve just used a huge AoE attack here, so Luffy being smaller doesn’t really matter. What actually matters is whether you can react to it, dodge it, or deal with it somehow.

And apparently, base Luffy could, while Loki couldn’t. Yonko Luffy’s superiority over Loki was already being shown last chapter, and this chapter just keeps pushing it.

If you wanted Zoro personality slander, you should have used his sudden uncharacteristic attack of........chauvinism (I guess?) against Monet. You know, that time he refused to actually hurt a woman who was actively trying to murder his friends in front of him, then sulked in a corner when Tahsigi called him out on his bullshit? Then pulled an Enies Lobby Sanji level bluff (just made it look cooler), didnt hurt Monet at all, and forced Tashigi to defeat Monet. Then refused to admit he did anything wrong and gave Tashigi a condescending "Attagirl! You did something!" to finish off the wildly douchey behaviour. Mind you he did all this AFTER yelling at Luffy that they all have to take shit seriously now, and it being explicitly pointed out he was more yelling at himself than Luffy.

......though tbf, I maintain to this day that that wasn't Zoro, it was probably a skin walker who just looked like him and the real Zoro got lost somewhere and only showed up at the end of the arc. Because Zoro never acted like that before (Miss Monday getting her skull crushed anyone?) or after. Lol. God I hate Punk Hazard Zoro. Worst character writing he ever got. Thank Christ Oda just took that Zoro out behind the barn and pretended none of that ever happened.

That’s not uncharacteristic? Zoro not wanting to and not liking people hurting women has been a thing since EB. Tashigi called him out on it in Loguetown and he called out Enel for it
