Life got busier for some months and i drifted away from posting here. I've been lurking though. Still reading spoilers and looking through the threads every now and then.

However i spent too much time debunking arguments about Sanji not having the qualities of a Conqueror while i was active, to not acknowledge now Gaban straight out telling us that he does, and that he must become a King for Luffy to become the King of the Pirates.

And with this

Oda also settles two other extensive arguments i had about the significance of Luffy's words towards Sanji at Whole Cake

and the significance of Robin's statement

single-handedly refuting the "Sanji's strength is not a significant factor" angle.

these kinds of comments throw me back to 2021, tough times

1 and 2 are both subjective and what Zoro fans want with extra reaching. Nothing says about Mihawk or WSS has anything to do with kingly ambition. Zoro training with Mihawk did not achieve kingly anything so you assuming that Mihawk has it is what you want, not something stated in the manga. Just like how you say Zoro has scar Kaidou permanently but Kaidou's conclusion is that Zoro has CoC too / as well, Kaidou didn't hold it any higher than the feat from anyone having CoC. Kaidou saying "this scar will remain with me" (forever? For one hour? For a minute?) but continue fighting without any sign of weakness, and even keep getting stronger in strength, techniques, and CoC, didn't help Zoro's scarring feat either. CoC had lost its status of being special since many have it, and now even more so, anything powerscaling-related can and will change depending on Oda's whim without any regard of consistency or clear structure.

So i have no problem with you extrapolating stuff, but holding that strongly to favorites in powerscaling will just make Zoro fans disappointed. WB can't be the strongest forever. Luffy just beaten WSC's strongest attack with his own without ever being called WSC, Loki and Imu have no strongest title, Oda have no clear power structure, so WSS title is definitely not something absolute or worthy for fans to believe in.

I mean i hear ya but unlike wb who oda had admit to us the reader that he could not be the strongest forever, he did not do that for mihawk he had the guy say no matter how long it takes i will sit at the top until you reach me. Maybe that is a bit of reaching but for me it doesn't make any sense for oda to confirm mihawk as the stronger swordsman in comparison to shanks if his haki is not stronger unless he is goint to reveal that a black blade is superior to coc haki.
