And post Wano we have Yamato use it in confirmed non awakening form (full zoan) and Killingham use it in multiple forms (so his isn’t indicative of an awakening form either)

Agreed, it's really good and enjoyable, but it's in no way without faults and questionable moments.

Some people gonna try and convince you that Kite's reincarnation is amazing writing.

Kite's reincarnation was so weird to me. Not because it happened necessarily, because there was already a mechanism in place for characters who were fed to the Queen to remember elements of their past lives (more or less depending on the individual, with some basically remembering everything after a certain point), but more because.......Kite wasn't fed to the Queen. Pitou killed him and then kept him around as a puppet to try and make him as fun to fight as he was the first time.

But Kite? Randomly reborn into Meruem's.......twin (?).....through his Nen ability apparently being able to DO that, because fucking Crazy Slots is just built like that I suppose. 😅
