Because after that atrocious usage on Guava in our game I don’t trust people enough with KP to use it wisely. And I don’t want people to be like BuT yOU DIdn‘T CLaIm IMMuniTy afterwards if the Duelist is Town and wastes a shot on me. It‘s literally no different from a Miller claim to not make the Cop waste usage. And it’s a complete PRO TOWN move. So miss me with that shade when stuff like this HAS to be claimed and I‘m almost certain Fuji made the Duelist Town due to wanting to put traps in the setup.

There's no guarantee the duelist has to be town. In Game of Thrones, it could be anyone from the Sword of the Morning to someone like Jaime Lannister. So no, I don't think it needs to be claimed day one.
