Luffy? Loki?

Even shanks kind won't be able to continue after a sword through them.

Unlikely, based on Oda's habits. But based on in-universe logic and circumstances? They should damn near be guaranteed to fail. I've said this a few times, but at ANY POINT Imu can summon the Gorosei. With like, a thought. Just like Saturn did. And the other HK's. AND the WG is clearly extremely invested in controlling Elbaf (Gunko even talked about it earlier in the arc like there was a prophecy that meant the winning side NEEDED the Giants). They have no reason to back off, and all the resources in the world to throw at the problem. The Gorosei are literally free to move whenever as far as we know. Warcury even offered. And Imu doesn't even need to bring them, there's an Abgss Circle sitting in the castle for anyone to come through.

So, yeah. Logically, the WG should win pretty easily abd get their Giant army. But Oda generally has the SH's overcome situations like, through a process only known as "somehow". Lmao.

I hope the genie thing at least looked like a good effort on Luffy's part cause now he got stabbed. Wild, props to Imu. I was hoping Luffy could tango with him on equal footing for a chapter at least. I expect Luffy will still be in the fight but dang, Imu overwhelmed both Luffy and Loki. I hope he's still in G5, there's no one else available to face Imu and while this is meant to call to mind the end of Luffy vs Crocodile 1, I'd rather it not end just to restart soon. Then again, I mean Loki got stabbed quite a few times, Luffy being done would be a shame. We'll see soon enough.

I mean, Luffy coming back from being stabbed by a bladed weapon, which is said to be his weakness(Luffy is weak against slashing attacks) , and Imu still failing to finish him off is only going to devalue the villain even more.

At the end of the day, we all know who wins from this.

Can you already see Imu getting ruined and turning into a hypocrite here? He eliminated and discarded Saturn for way less, just because he let “Joy Boy” get away. And now Imu is about to do the same thing here, assuming he doesn’t end up getting beaten down by Luffy first.
