kaidou >= Imu = Luffy > Loki.
Luffy already dealt with the attack that beat Loki twice, easily. This is a whole new level of fighting here.
As for Kaido >= Imu, well nothing he did in this chapter is something Kaido hasn't already done before.
Making Luffy bleed a lot after landing a hit on Gear 5 is cool, but Kaidou already did that right after destroying him. So if Luffy doesn’t get defeated here by what Imu did, then it’s not really any different from what Kaidou did in these panels.
And the bonus is that this attack Gear 5 dodged is the same one that impaled and defeated Loki.

Luffy cannot beat serious top tiers in a 1v1.
Kaido and Linlin fought for how long, Akainu and Kuzan fought for days. If your strongest form only lasts 5 minutes, you ARE USELESS in 1v1s in this series against Admiral and above level characters.
I think Luffy just DRAINS Haki a ton, and needs to work on using it more efficiently, and taking more in.
The last big bad who wasn't a regen merchant who actually was trying to kill Luffy was Doffy, and he's a LOW, LOW top tier. Katakuri let him win, Kaido WANTED to die, and Kizaru was doing everything he could to avoid actually killing Vegapunk.
Imu SHOULD pack up Luffy, the man has NO serious feats against a top tier in a single Gear 5 usage.
Only time Gear 5 truly dominated someone was Rob Lucci.
We need a Shanks/Red Hair Pirates Haki training arc, the fact that half the crew doesn't have reliable Haki and made it to Elbaph is honestly a giant ass miracle.

4. Have Loki utterly demolish buffed Harald on panel
5. Have mortally wounded Loki compete evenly with a buffed version of a character the God Valley 6 were completely helpless against

This power increase doesn't exist, from Wano to here we've had 0 power ups for Luffy. I'd even say we've seen Luffy get weaker, because he can't even restart his heart, but he could while in Wano he had to do that to not die against Kaido.
Kaido destroyed and did, like I showed you in the panel with comparisons, the same thing Imu did to Luffy, and even better, while spending tons of stamina carrying an island all night long.
I give credit when characters earn it and I'll give it to Imu when the time comes, but this here isn't impressive, Kaido already did it too while being nerfed by the island.
