True, true. I guess I've been thinking Luffy looked kinda fraudulent since Egghead so his L against Imu didn't shock me as much as against Kaido (although I still expected Luffy to at least clash with Imu a few times) lol

So Imu's weapons belonged to the other 19/18 ancients kings. Does that mean these kings are Imu's ancients contracted underlings like Gorosei/HK of today? Maybe these weapons still hold the contracted souls of the ancient kings and that's how Imu could still wield them even today.

Luffy went out of his way and prepared to fight Imu here. In Wano Kaido just showed up and Luffy got rocked. Here Luffy was like “I’m unbeatable I’m so full” then got absolutely no diffed and called a fodder

Man, Imu is absolutely crazy strong. Not only he is double tapping luffy, but also providing power weapons to his subordinates to fight the wings. IMU is absolutely one man army, he's the King of the World for a reason. I honestly don't know how he won't end up being the final villain, or how Blackbeard could possibly surpass him. Luffy is going to need a massive Conqueror's Haki upgrade or maybe even another Devil Fruit awakening to stand a chance against Imu. This is a great path toward Godfy becoming the strongest in the world.
