Zoro needs to face Mihawk as swordsman with EQUAL reputation or stature as a swordsman that transformed his blade to a black blade.

It needs to be this way.. It needs to frame Zoro as someone on the same tier as Mihawk.

It doesn't make sense for him to come into this fight as a challenger to the WSS with no swordsmanship accomplishments.

The only meaningful accomplishment is turning Wadoichimonji into Supreme Grade.

Lmao his wings got diffed by weaker attacks. It’s like saying Kaido isn’t stronger then King or Queen because Imu diffs them all the same.

Tbh. As someone who was clowning tf out of Zoro and Sanji for how they did against Imu, in hindsight it was very mild.

Zoro although he was brushed aside didn't really take any damage, and Sanji was back up on his feet pretty easily as well.

Luffy got the chance to throw out a couple more attacks but ended up much, much worse off for it

It follows narratively after he got Enma and how during his fight against King and his exclamation to be KoH he valued and recalled how he got each of his swords ie: showing his growth and intuition with each sword. Just after that he unlocked Acoc fully and independently.

Now he is going to complete KoH and get a black blade.


Bro he needs to meet Mihawk as a Black Blade user..

What does that mean for zoro:

- Shows worthiness as a challenger for the title of WSS balck blade user

- Embodying the legend of Ryuma (his ancestor)

- The next time he meets Mihawk its going to be it.

Him not having a black blade is going to be bitter.. It will shows that Zoro is jumping tiers in his fight against Mihawk which is not enjoyable. Him being worthy matters. He is not worthy of fighting Mihawk.
