I don't know how you can be an honest person and deny the fact that relegating Mihawk to being Zolo's Sensei has been nothing but bad for his character.

Imagine if instead of half of early Naruto just being Itachi negging characters, we just got occasional panels of him worrying about being chased by the Anbu and talking about how Sasuke beating him was less hard than becoming Hokage.

It's how you end up with big panels like this...with Mihawk being absent

Are you being stupid on purpose? Why would Mihawk be on this spread when the whole point of making Buggy the face was to not have the attention and to not be bothered.
The ones looking for OP are the 4 Yonkos, they are in the race, they are the ones with the RPs. The WG is trying to stop them from getting the OP. The RA is not going after the OP, they are going after the WG/CDs.

MIhawk isn't meaningfully looking for the OP any less than half of those characters, it's basically just a hype panel of the most important characters in the final war. Pre TS, he would have definitely been in a panel like that

Right now, Shanks vs Mihawk of course. Oda literally said Mihawk is hiding behind the Emperor title, there is no competition. Plus the swordsmanship talk between Alber and Zolo also made it clear Shanks can't be limited with the WGS title as Shanks said he is a pirate and can fight dirty.

If Oda gives Muramasa to Zoro, that’s basically the end of the line for the character.
The very existence of that sword brings Zoro and Nasujuro to mind. They are the only two swordsmen with an Asian aesthetic confirmed for this final battle. At a stretch, you could argue that Shiryu might use it, he has a red Meito called Raiu that could be replaced or complemented by Muramasa, which would likely be red too.
It would be cooler if the Gorosei fought using a Nitoryu style with Shodai Kitetsu (owazamono) and Muramasa that would be badass. And Zoro would unlock the black blade grade during the fight by overcoming a buffed up Gorosei wielding a magic sword from the Void Century.
