That would still count as swordsman ship.

Being a devil fruit user while using a sword for battle doesn't take away from you being a swordsman lol. Its why even though fuji has a gravity fruit he is still considered a swordsman.

The only swordsman in the history of onepiece that declared that they were NOT swordsman were mr1 and king. Now what's weird about that is that them not identifying as swordsman don't take away from the fact that they actually are lol.

Is luffy not using the Nika fruit even though he has not identified himself or his fruit as a Nika fruit user? He still calls and considered his fruit the gomu gomu even after knowing the truth. So by definition should we state that luffy isn't using the Nika Nika fruit solely because he doesn't identify himself as doing so? No. Then the same applies to individuals whom are swordsman but don't identify as such.

Being one or the other doesn't take away from your other attributes.

Is sanji not a Melle fighter because he is a haki user? No. Is sanji not a haki user because he has German scientific genes? No. Same applies.

As it stands shamrock is a swordsman and a devil fruit user and a omen user. He is ALL 3!!!!
