I am not entirely convinced by this. Some looks like tinfoil (what I have responded to below).

Marimo has a way of playing, at least from my perspective, where he acts the same way whether he is town or scum. In the Naruto game I went over all of his posts numerous times and he was exactly the same as he is now.

Perhaps my biggest problem with this is that Gianfi isn't that different compared to Marimo. Both are fluffy, one contributed even less, actually.

To me it feels like you're distancing yourself from Gianfi. As you said, we will see how he responds later in the day phase, but I'm not going to forget you dismissing him because Nat said he plays the same as town or scum. It looks like you are defending him.
But let's wait.

Lynching mafia is better than lynching independent. I think I saw you said that Cinera's lynch is safer but there's a big chance that he would flip independent imo.

Melontonin lynch also would tell Cinera's alignment since Melontonin defended him.

cinera is confirmed non-townie role, melon is not confirmed non-townie role
and knowing about cinera's character and abilities may make my theory stronger or disprove it

Yeah, no clear progression from what I see there on Marimo. I agree with you. Going from defending him to suddenly bandwagoning on the Marimo suspicion. That isn't a good look at all.

I'm also disliking how adamant she was on Light distancing Gianfi when that vibe was barely there if at all at least for me. Felt like she was stretching it to paint Light as scummy. She's also assuming that Gianfi actually is scum here. A suspicion is fine but calling distancing so early feels a bit more like TMI to me. Basically, I'm saying that she knows Gianfi is scum. Do you get me?

Isn't it possible for a survivor to be harmful to the town? We are pretty sure that he is a survivor.

Not really. A survivor is trying to survive until the end of the game. That is as neutral as a role as you can get. Doesn't harm any faction. Now, sure, you can have some condition within the game that can turn the survivor into harmful or benign but the moment that happens, they're not exactly a survivor anymore. More like pro-town indie or harmful indie.

BUT on the other hand, I don’t think Cinera would ~ claim ~ survivor so early if he wasn’t one. I don’t see him doing it.

I don't really see the issue with that. I see where the suspicion came from. You came online when the fake write-up went up, right? There is convenient timing involved there so it's easy to associate the write-up with you. It being used to confuse town doesn't change the idea that you can be the creator of it. Not saying that you are.

No, I don't. I fail to see how any of the points you mentioned here relate to Cinera in any shape or form. I don't mean to defend Mel real hard here but this case just doesn't make any sense to me. From what I can see, she was suspecting others and trying to scum hunt. How does that show any worrying over Cinera's lynch or shows that she doesn't want him lynched?

she clearly doesn't like the way the game is going and wants someone else to get lynched, even using weak tinfoils theory, that's what I got from her

Not really. A survivor is trying to survive until the end of the game. That is as neutral as a role as you can get. Doesn't harm any faction. About the Marimo/Mel thing

He was a potential lynch earlier because he said that newbies can't be scum which we all know is not true. Earlier Mel was defending Marimo since going after new players would have been a weak move from our side. But now she is okay with his lynch which comes off kinda sus to me.

Yes this is why I dropped it because I realised it was pretty unlikely.
