Current Events Shiryu has to be VERY VERY Strong but I don't know how

Besides some Anti-Zoro trolling, it is practically given that Super Sommers 2.0 is somewhere in the top tier bracket. His one feat alone suggests that he low diff Kings or even Neg diffs, certainly Neg Diffs likes of Queen, Katakuri etc.

And if Zoro is going to defeat that guy this chapter, he has to fight an opponent even stronger later considering Shiryu is a future antagonist.

For that to make sense Shiryu has to be High Yonko Level to Pirate King Level

But idk how will Oda make that happen as so far he barely seems like a YC1 Level character.

The BBP aren’t overwhelmingly strong. They’ll just overpower the SHP by nerfing them. Shiryu is going to nerf Zoro by stealing and hiding his blades would be my guess

I can think of two possibilities that immediately come to mind

1. Blackbeard steals Imu's fruit and grants omen and other pact buffs to his crew. Shiryu could get one of the 20K weapons or/and even a yokai style transformation. Considering how Zoro vs Nusjuro is 100 percent going to happen, it could mean Zoro will fight 3 omen boosted characters back to back (Sommers, Nusjuro and Shiryu).


2. The Yami Yami has some sort of ability that can buff the BBPs. Maybe it can trigger an awakening? In Shiryu's case I imagine that his sword would also eat a powerful fruit

Blackbeard Pirates fights will probably be tricky and/or against nerfed SHs. At least Zoro, Sanji, Jinbei.

I think Shiryu will be a pain in the ass for his invisibility, not for his combat skill.

Orochi's fruit is ass. I fail to see how that would even make him stronger than Super Sommers.

The Zaza fruit, however, would instantly make him admiral level. It also thematically fits as he is Shiryu of the rain

The only bad mythical zoan in the series is the human fruit, and even then chopper's shown how useful that fruit can be in the right hands

But Shiryu is ruthless and cunning. He'll happily ambush someone if that works over a long fight.

DF Awakening, a sword with a DF and maybe some potential Advanced Haki types. That's plenty for Shiryu to be in top tier range.

Shiryu will be stronger than GV WB who was clashing equally with 40 yo Roger. Oda can give whatever buffs he wants. Just look at how many buffs were given to chars in this arc. They can get DRed which raises their power level or they can get a contract like HK and Gorosei which buffs them or they can get super buffed by Omen or they can get ancient weapons.
So far the theme of BBs is getting PUs via DF. They are hunting the strongest DFs they can find and BB is very knowledgable about them.

But Oda clearly holds Magellan in high regard and would buff him accordingly if he were to come back.

Invisiblity makes you stealthy, not stronger.
