You gotta factor in how serious Imu will be in this fight. If he goes easy on Gaban and that’s the reason he can exist in the fight, it’ll hardly be an upscale or a downscale of anyone. He doesn’t care about him the same way he cares about Loki and Luffy, whom he has a deep-seated hatred toward.

Roughly prime Gaban has appeared to fought one time where he was helpless/look weak.
That is against HK Harald.
And he also appears to be glazing one character and used to keep on warning Luffy.

Doing better than G5 Luffy is a given. I haven't seen a character doing worse compared to G5 Luffy since G5 introduction.
Oda is surely doing something wrong here looking back at Gorosei shitting their pants about this supposedly goated DF. They could have had a career as comedians.

Regarding Loki, doing better than his base giant form is also a given. He was a punching bag in this form and if Imu used his sword that drains energy the first time he impaled Loki, the fight would have ended the first chapter of their fight.
However Loki's dragon form is a tank and pack some good power.
And I believe his hybrid should be his strongest form seeing how Oda is stalling to show it.

Anyway there is no reason to think he shouldn't look decent unless Oda makes it clear his previous wounds are hindering his performance.
