Where is the problem?

If Imu defeated Gaban with Axe...this just means that he decided to use Gaban's style just to show that he is beyond touching. If Gaban actually injured Imu that we will be talking.

I will remind you of Zoro vs Lucci and Zoro fans called it low diff. But Zoro wasn't able to defeat Lucci in the same chapter when the fight started. So battle between Imu and Gaban will have any meaning only if Imu used some named attacks, Omen etc.

Imu used Omen and his own style against Luffy and Loki. If he uses just Axe this means he is just having fun.

Exactly. Imu wasn't able to defeat Loki and Luffy with their own style, he needed to use his own style. If Gaban moves fast, and Imu having fun this doesn't mean anything. Again, we will see...but it's Gaban who loses an arm and the battle.

It’s because those weapons are his primary fighting style in general. The Xingtian Axe wasn’t chosen to have fun, it’s what he summoned to execute Luffy. And Gaban is fighting Imu utilizing a weapon that he feels is deadlier than any weapon he summoned yet

It’s his main weapon and he probably used it before he became a literal devil
