I don't think he'll immediately join the side of the pirates by killing the Gorosei but the final war will include an all out war between all forces, fighting each other. Maybe the navy WILL betray the WG soon but they'll still do their own thing - after all, Akainu showed his determination to eliminate the emperors.

In my opinion. I think Akainu would try to take the throne and rule like emperor or dictator due thinking he can do better job which he never up look worse.

In movie Z, Zephyr justice is radical that he want to nuke new world to get weapon.

He can betray WG but he will aim kill luffy, doesn't matter they forgive each other, it won't last long.

Joy Boy being first pirate and luffy parallel didn't happen. Akainu will ignore Joy Boy savior and wpukd try to kill him because he look like Luffy and pirate.

Oda like to keep secrets hidden so long like Sanji backstories ,not east blue woukd summarize Sanji story.

And some of them still got killed for looking at Saturn in the present times.

GV only marines that got killed were by Saturnmu and Garp didnt do shit to stop the elders from doing it again.

Marines who were getting killed was stopping Garp rather than Saturnmu to not hit a gorosei lol.
Garp attacked Saturnmu because he was killing marines.
