He looks massively better than the man who killed Kaido but Gaban basically spammed all his attacks and Haki yet barely bypassed Imu's Omen barrier where he bleed a little bit.

A single Thorheim caused the same damage on Imu but unlike Gaban, Loki vs Imu continued for many chapters afterwards.

Gaban was better at causing environmental damage but let's see how this will last when we see Hybrid Loki. It's a fact that Loki was stronger than even Prime Gaban if people are able to read the manga.

Instead, it was Gaban going all-out against an Imu who was trying to kill Condom. I think Imu only got injured because he wasn’t able to put up his shield on time lol. When we get a closeup of him with the shield later, there were no attacks that was connecting whatsoever.

Reality aside, Gaban looked really stylish this chapter. Might be the best old dude in the series.

Yeah, Gaban's feat isn't that crazy, albeit it is good, given it made Imu struggle and bleed. But in the end, Gaban went all out and put most of his Haki into that attack and Imu managed to take off Gaban's hand regardless. And that is an Imu that already coughed blood upon arrival in Elbaf, so his mere presence outside Marijoa is taxing to begin with.

But as I said in the beginning, there isn't a "power creep" in the sense of Kaguya being able to rag doll characters above Hokage level, but Imu is still decisively above Yonko level.

Depend what we mean by powercreep, I still have the impression Imu ultimately wouldn't need that much to take down the strongest top tier. Like Imu literally ignored Gaban to aim for Luffy mid fight, that's not someone that was close to going all out (will all respect to Gaban)

The fact still remains that both a injured Loki and an injured Gaban did better against Imu than a full powered healthy G5 Luffy.

My guy yall made all this fuss about one tiny ass paper cut that Imu didn’t even notice LMFAO, Imu was distracted with trying to kill Luffy and berserk Gaban still only left him with mosquito bite level damage, holy shit was this disappointing. All this lecturing from Gaban about Luffy being weak only for Gaban to BARELY outperform him, I am massively disappointed seeing as how Gaban was supposed to upscale the Admiral agenda, now fruitless Admirals are optimistically looking like a mid diff for Imu, I was told Gaban would take the Admiral agenda to new heights, instead now I have to cope about this guy barely performing better than the condom and leaving Imu with a tiny paper cut.
